 Maverick Biofuels is a second-generation biofuels and bioplastics company that uses proven technology to convert biomass, MSW, coal and natural gas into petroleum-free fuels and plastics. Our novel technology involves producing an olefin intermediate that can be used to produce multiple high-value products, such as mixed-alcohol fuels, propylene, and jet fuel.
Maverick Biofuels is managed by an accomplished start-up team with expertise in organic chemistry, biofuels, chemical engineering, and in growing technology companies. The company is based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
