Fuel Distributors

Maverick Value Chain: Feedstock Producers & Processors > Fuel Technology Companies > Fuel Distributors > Engine & Vehicle Manufacturers > Fuel Users

Maverick's high-energy biofuel technology enables new sources of renewable energy that are less expensive to produce, cleaner-burning and distribution-channel friendly. Maverick’s approach has the flexibility to produce a variety of biofuels, including mixed-alcohol, biobutanol, bio-LPG, and other bio-products that can add value for fuel producers and distributors.

New Sources of Renewable Energy
Unlike first generation ethanol-based biofuels that rely on edible feedstocks, Maverick’s gasification-based process will convert biomass or waste stream (crop, timber, landfill, etc.) into biofuels.

High Energy Biofuel
Maverick’s mixed-alcohol biofuel product has more energy (BTUs) than ethanol and contains approximately 85% of the energy of gasoline. Higher energy content translates to higher gas mileage when compared to ethanol or ethanol blends.

Distribution-Channel Friendly
Maverick’s mixed-alcohol biofuel is distribution channel friendly. Mixed-alcohol biofuel is one of the few biofuels that is capable of being shipped by pipe and integrated into existing distribution channels in its pure form or by blending with gasoline. Mixed-alcohol biofuel can be blended at higher percentages than pure ethanol, thereby further offsetting the use of gasoline as compared to pure ethanol.

Cleaner Burning
Maverick’s mixed-alcohol biofuel is a cleaner-burning alternative to gasoline. Mixed-alcohol biofuels can be used as a direct replacement for gasoline in flexible fuel engines, thus eliminating the added expense of blending and reducing the dependency on petroleum.

Higher Profit Margin
Maverick's mixed-alcohol and bio-LPG biofuels are less expensive to produce than first generation biofuels. The Maverick process requires less energy and converts a greater percentage of feedstock into sellable products, which leads to higher profits.

New Markets and Incentives
The Maverick process enables new markets for feedstock suppliers and fuel production technology companies. The integration and use of Maverick technology in the fuel supply chain enables new opportunities to obtain government incentives and tax credits to facilitate implementation.
